Прокуратура Чернівецької області підтримала публічне обвинувачення у кримінальному провадженні за фактом вчинення 62-річним мешканцем с. Мамаївці Кіцманського району дорожньо-транспортної пригоди, в результаті якої загинуло двоє осіб. Про це повідомляє прес-служба прокуратури Чернівецької області.
Під час судового розгляду встановлено, що 27.07.2018 обвинувачений, керуючи пасажирським автобусом марки «Mersedes-Benz-Sprinter», в салоні якого перебувало 20 пасажирів, наближаючись до залізничного переїзду на перегоні «Мамаївці – Чернівці Північна» проявив неуважність та самовпевненість у своїх діях, в результаті чого допустив зіткнення з тепловозом.
Внаслідок даної дорожньо-транспортної пригоди загинули двоє пасажирів автобуса 1987 та 1949 років народження, ще четверо одержали тілесні ушкодження різного ступеня тяжкості.
Вину водія у вчиненні кримінального правопорушення, передбаченого ч. 3 ст. 286 КК України, доведено повністю.
Вироком Кіцманського районного суду його засуджено до 5 років позбавлення волі, з позбавленням права керувати транспортними засобами на строк до 3 років.
