У листопаді 2006 року на підставі рішення Сторожинецької міської ради між міською радою та ТОВ «Сторожинецький завод продовольчих товарів» укладено договір оренди земельної ділянки несільськогосподарського призначення площею майже 1,6 га.
Однак, всупереч умов договору, з грудня 2013 по березень 2016 року, товариство ухилялось від сплати за користування землею, в результаті заборгувало Сторожинецькій міській раді понад 190 тис. грн.
У липні 2016 року господарський суд Чернівецької області задовольнив позов керівника Сторожинецької місцевої прокуратури до ТОВ про стягнення вказаного боргу.
Наказ Господарського суду в даній справі був направлений на виконання до Сторожинецького районного відділу ДВС Головного територіального управління юстиції у Чернівецькій області.
За інформацією прес-служби прокуратури Чернівецької області, завдяки принципової позиції місцевої прокуратури боржник погасив заборгованість у повному обсязі.
