Сьогодні, 10 лютого 2019 року, на Зборах релігійної громади села Михальча Сторожинецького району району Чернівецької області, одностайно підтримали перехід від Української православної церкви Московського патріархату до Православної Церкви України.
За таке рішення проголосували 243 прихожани церкви Успіння Пресвятої Богородиці села Михальча Сторожинецького району району Чернівецької області Чернівецької області, проти – 0 , утрималися – 0. До участі у Зборах релігійної громади зареєструвалося 243 прихожани. Про це з місця події повідомляє журналістка «Чернівці. Онлайн».
І хоча проти переходу парафії до ПЦУ категорично виступив настоятель храму отець Ювеналій, рішення релігійної громади прийнято – покинути Московський патріархат і перейти до Православної Церкви України.
