5 лютого у місті Сторожинець горіла господарська будівля. Всередині власник проводив різальні роботи, використовуючи болгарку. Попередньо, через порушення правил пожежної безпеки при виконанні цих робіт сталося загорання: іскри від інструменту потратили на меблі у господарській будівлі. Чоловік, не помітивши цього, вийшов у справах. Полум’я розгорілося і поширилося на дерев’яне перекриття.
Пожежу виявили перехожі вже тоді, коли із споруди виходив густий дим. Щоб ліквідувати пожежу, на місце події прибув черговий караул 12 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини міста Сторожинець. Рятувальники загасили вогонь, врятувавши від знищення господарську будівлю.
Внаслідок пожежі згоріли частково перекриття, споруди, інструмент, речі домашнього вжитку.
Про це повідомляє прес-служба Управління ДСНС України у Чернівецькій області.
Крім того, ще одна пожежа трапилась у селі Банилів-Підгірний Сторожинецького району на території домогосподарства одного з місцевих мешканців виникла пожежа у лазні, зблокованій з господарською будівлею.
Напередодні власники розпалювали котел у лазні. Від сильної температури накалився димар, а від нього почало тліти перекриття споруди, що розташовувалося впритул. Оскільки споруда була зблокованою, пожежа охопила перекриття і над лазнею, і над господарською будівлею. На момент прибуття вогнеборців площа пожежі становила 150 кв.м.
Рятувальники 12 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини міста Сторожинець та місцевої пожежної охорони сіл Банилів-Підгірний, Давидівка, Чудей ліквідували пожежу в тих межах, в яких застали її на час приїзду. Завдяки діям працівників Служби порятунку було врятовано зблоковану будівлю. Полум’я знищило перекриття споруди, котел, речі домашнього вжитку.
