Вчора, 25 січня, в будинку з левами з нагоди 150-ї річниці Товариства «Просвіта» презентовано книгу, яку підготував головний редактор обласної громадсько-політичної газети «Буковина» (1991-2011 рр.), заслужений журналіст України Володимир Михайловський «Просвіта» на Буковині».
Про це повідомляється на сайті Чернівецької ОДА.
Книга вийшла в світ за сприяння обласної державної адміністрації.
«Сьогодні відбувається непересічна подія – ми залишаємо своїм нащадкам частинку історії України та Буковини, адже в цій книзі тут записано те, що собою представляла еліта нашого суспільства – ті люди, які боролися за незалежність нашої держави словом – з пером в руках, та від покоління до покоління передавали те, що повинні були чути та знати наші діти» – звернувся до присутніх керівник апарату облдержадміністрації Олег Стецевич.
Він висловив впевненість, що з часом імена сьогоднішніх представників обласного Товариства будуть вписані в історію «Просвіти», і зокрема, завдяки вам наша незалежна суверенна держава постане такою, якою хотіли її бачити просвітяни, про які йде мова в цьому виданні.
Буковинців, котрі доклали зусиль до видання книги, Олег Стецевич відзначив Почесними грамотами та ювілейними відзнаками ОДА «100 років Буковинського Віча»: директора видавництва ТОВ «АНТ ЛТД» Василя Глібку, професора ЧНУ ім. Ю. Федьковича Надію Бабич, художника Івана Балана, редактора громадсько-політичної газети «Буковина» Людмилу Черняк.
У книзі висвітлено життя та мрії просвітян від 1869 до 1909 рр, а відтак – і до 40-х років XX століття. Тобто це шляхи від тих дат до сьогодення в найдоцільнішій інформації про збереження і розвиток української мови, про боротьбу за зміцнення незалежності України, про виховання почуття патріотизму українців і тих, хто ставав щирими громадянами України.
Книгу про Буковинську «Просвіту» Володимир Михайловський завершував в останні дні свого життя. Це – пам’ятка від невтомного, талановитого, завше просвітленого просвітянина.
