Вчора, 28 грудня, у селі Магала Новоселицького району горів житловий будинок. Пожежа виникла на горищі будинку через коротке замкнення електромережі. Господарі, котрі у той момент перебували всередині, відчули запах диму та, вийшовши з будівлі, помітили вогонь на горищі. Люди зателефонували за номером 101 і викликали вогнеборців.
За вказаною адресою прибули рятувальники з міст Чернівці і Новоселиця та місцева пожежна команда села Магала. Про це повідомляє прес-служба ДСНС у Чернівецькій області.
Оскільки на горищі утворилося щільне задимлення, під час ліквідації пожежі вогнеборці працювали у спеціальних апаратах захисту органів дихання та зору.
За півгодини рятувальники ліквідували пожежу на площі 100 кв.м., врятувавши від полум’я житловий будинок. Також працівники Служби порятунку попередили перекидання вогню на дві поруч розташовані господарські споруди.
Внаслідок пожежі було частково знищено покриття та перекриття житлового будинку, домашні речі, що знаходились на горищі
