Цієї п’ятниці, 28 травня, о 15:00 на Театральній площі м. Чернівців відбудеться відкриття виставки «Диво у Чернівцях. Сторінками історії чернівецького єврейського фізкультурно-спортивного товариства «Маккабі 1914-1940».
Вона приурочена до 100-річчя перемоги футбольної команди «Маккабі Чернівці» у першому офіційному чемпіонаті краю з футболу 1920 року. Виставка розповідає про маловідомі сторінки історії чернівецького й буковинського спорту в період до Другої світової війни. В її основі – матеріали чернівецької преси доби Австро-Угорщини та Королівства Румунії, архівні документи, а також спогади учасників подій і очевидців.
Виставка підготовлена Чернівецьким музеєм історії та культури євреїв Буковини в рамках німецько-українського освітнього проєкту «Вчимося пам’ятати» у співпраці з Єврейською громадою м. Дюссельдорф.
Захід мав відбутися ще восени 2020 року, але через пандемію коронавірусу його перенесли. Нинішнє місце проведення (Театральна площа) також вибрано організаторами з міркувань безпеки для відвідувачів.
Триватиме виставка до 1 липня.
