2 травня до поліції надійшло повідомлення про те, що на вулиці Каштановій у Чернівцях сталася автопригода, в якій постраждав пішохід.
На місце події виїхала слідчо-оперативна група Чернівецького районного управління поліції. Попередньо правоохоронці встановили, що 35-річна водійка автомобіля «Volkswagen Sharan» під час маневра розвороту допустила наїзд на 48-річного пішохода.
Медичні працівники діагностували у потерпілого перелом ноги.
Слідчі поліції розпочали кримінальне провадження за ознаками частини 1 статті 296 (Порушення правил безпеки дорожнього руху або експлуатації транспорту особами, які керують транспортними засобами) Кримінального кодексу України.
