Через просідання фундаментів на стінах утворилися наскрізні тріщини. У багатьох місцях декоративні керамічні та цегляні елементи повідбивалися. Від вологи поверхні вкрилися грибком. Центральний хрест на куполі сильно заіржавів.
І це лише частина руйнувань. Їх значно більше – вони викладені на десяти сторінках акту огляду технічного стану.
“Попередня оцінка проєктанта – роботи будуть виконувати протягом пів року 24 працівники. Якщо в ході робіт будуть вносити якісь корективи, час виконання може й змінитися”, — зауважив фахівець центру управління об’єктом ЮНЕСКО ЧНУ Євген Чередюк
Зараз церква потребує масштабної реставрації, роботи з якої оцінили у вісім мільйонів. Поки що Чернівецький національний університет таких коштів не має.
Резиденцію разом із церквою 10 років тому включили до Списку Всесвітньої спадщини ЮНЕСКО, тож держава разом зі своїми громадянами просто зобов’язана подбати про будівлю.
Торік Президент Зеленський під час свого приїзду до ЧНУ торік похвалився, що ремонт церкви внесений до державної програми “Велике будівництво”, зокрема такого її напрямку як “велика реставрація”. А це означає, що реставрація церкви мала би фінансуватися з державного бюджету.
