Про капітальний ремонт вулиці М. Заньковецької розповів сьогодні під час брифінгу заступник Чернівецького міського голови Василь Зазуляк.
– У нас цього року планується капітальний ремонт цієї вулиці. І якраз постало питання з тим, що в нас фактично автомобілі домінують в центральній частині міста. Це ніяким чином не сприяє ні відпочинку чернівчан, ні бізнесовій активності. Адже всюди, де є пішохідні вулиці, там добре розвивається сфера громадського харчування, торгівля, – розповів заступник Чернівецького міського голови Василь Зазуляк.
Як зазначив посадовець, усі мережі, які проходять на цьому відрізку вулиці і спотворюють її вигляд – перенесуть під землю.
– Це певною мірою здорожчить проект, але так має бути. І ця вулиця стане окрасою нашого міста. У нас справді не вистачає пішохідних вулиць і ці тротуари, які є, вони в непридатному стані. Якщо розглядати цю вулицю, як туристичний маршрут – стає очевидним, що вона для цього не пристосована і є вкрай незручною для туристів. А сама вулиця Заньковецької досить гармонічно поєднала б центральну частину міста з площею Філармонії, – наголосив Василь Зазуляк.
Окрім того, будуть вивчатися маршруту обїзду і обиратимуть той, який зробить меншим автомобільний потік по центральній частині міста.
