За добу 24 березня в Україні діагноз COVID-19 встановили 16 669 особам, госпіталізували 4 838 хворих, померли від ускладнень 362 пацієнти, одужали 6 748 осіб.
Про це свідчить статистика міністра охорони здоров’я Максима Степанова.
Це максимальна добова кількість нових хворих і померлих із початку пандемії в нашій країні. Це третій поспіль антирекорд за летальними випадками (333 і 342 у попередні два дні), напередодні також був максимум госпіталізацій із COVID чи підозрою на нього (5 438 хворих).
Попередній антирекорд за добовим приростом хворих був восени: за добу 27 листопада 2020 року зафіксували 16 294 нових випадків захворювання.
За останню добу найбільша кількість підтверджених випадків зареєстрована у м. Київ (1 267), Одеській (1 235), Житомирській (1 136), Львівській (1 032) та Хмельницькій (989) областях. Кількість інфікованих дітей зросла до 786-ти за добу, у середу коронавірус також підтвердився у 446 медпрацівників.
Тестувань за минулу добу зробили 128 615, зокрема методом ПЛР – 57 818, методом ІФА – 22 950, досліджень експрес-тестами на антиген до SARS-CoV-2 – 47 847.
За весь час пандемії в Україні коронавірус виявили у 1 596 575 осіб, із них одужали 1 283 020 осіб, померли вже 31 135 хворих.
За добу 24 березня 2021 року в Україні було щеплено 18 561 людину першою дозою вакцини проти COVID-19. Загалом за рівно місяць вакцинальної кампанії зроблено 155 587 щеплень.
