У сьому річницю окупації Криму США закликало Росію повністю припинити окупацію півострова та звільнити всіх українських політичних в’язнів, яких вона несправедливо утримує.
“Ми закликаємо Росію негайно припинити окупацію Криму, звільнити всіх українських політичних в’язнів, яких вона несправедливо утримує, та повернути Україні повний контроль над півостровом. Ми також закликаємо Росію припинити агресію на сході України”, – йдеться у заяві державного секретаря США Ентоні Блінкена.
Він додав, що санкції США проти Росії у відповідь на її агресію на сході України та захоплення Криму залишатимуться чинними, доки РФ не змінить курс.
“США не визнають і ніколи не будуть визнавати заявлену Росією анексію Криму”, – зазначено в заяві.
Блінкен також додав, що США вітають нову ініціативу України “Кримська платформа” та сподіваються на продовження співпраці з Україною і нашими союзниками й партнерами щодо припинення окупації Росією Кримського півострова та її агресії на сході України.
