Україна знаходиться на 34-місці в Європі за рівнем смертності від коронавірусної хвороби на 1 млн населення. Про це заявив на Форумі “Україна 30. Коронавірус: виклики і відповіді” міністр охорони здоров’я України Максим Степанов, передає кореспондент УНН.
“Нам дуже потрібно, щоб перемогти COVID-19, провакцинувати щонайменше 60% наших громадян безкоштовною, безпечною вакциною”, – сказав Степанов.
Зі слів міністра, на сьогодні головним завданням МОЗ є охоплення щонайменше 50% населення – близько 21 млн людей – безпечним щепленням протягом 2021-го – початку 2022-го року.
Він також наголосив на проблемі недовіри населення до вакцинації.
Вакцинація від COVID-19 в Україні
Україна, де ще не стартувала вакцинація, уклала контракт на поставку вакцини китайського виробника – Sinovac Biotech. Йдеться про 1,9 млн доз, з можливістю, як стверджують у МОЗ, відмовитися від угоди і повернути сплачені за неї державні гроші – а це трохи менше мільярда гривень – у разі непідтвердження її достатньої ефективності.
Такі заяви лунають на тлі оприлюднених результатів досліджень щодо ефективності цієї вакцини у 50,38% у Бразилії, яка також домовилася про цю вакцину і вже почала масово щеплювати людей 18 січня.
