Митрополит Епіфаній заявив, що Православна церква України вважає можливою легалізацію канабісу в Україні за умови його використання у медичних цілях. Раніше стало відомо, що відповідний законопроект готується.
Про це Епіфаній сказав в інтерв’ю “Радіо Свобода”.
За його словами, легалізація канабісу в Україні можлива, якщо ним не будуть зловживати як наркотиком.
“Зустрічаючись навіть з прем’єр-міністром, і з президентом України, ми наголошували, що якщо це буде дозволено, щоб воно не привело до пагубних наслідків, щоб під виглядом дозволу медичного це в майбутньому не дало можливості для того, щоб наркоманія процвітала в українській державі”, – сказав предстоятель ПЦУ.
Нагадаємо, Комісія Організації Об’єднаних Націй проголосувала за виключення канабісу (марихуани) для медичних цілей зі списку найбільш небезпечних наркотиків у світі.
Раніше повідомлялося, що закон про легалізацію медичного канабісу в Україні вже готується.
