Першу сесію Чернівецької обласної ради VIII скликання проведуть 17 грудня. Про це йдеться у постанові Чернівецької обласної територіальної виборчої комісії від 8 грудня 2020 року.
Як йдеться в постанові, п’ятеро кандидатів, які пройшли до Чернівецької обласної ради, відмовилися від депутатства. Їхніх імен немає у списку обраних депутатів. Зокрема, у списку немає Галини Абрам’юк (Єдина Альтернатива), Марини Кирилюк (Єдина Альтернатива), Василя Козака (Аграрна партія), Ніни Душинської (За майбутнє) та Наталії Кошурби (Партія Батьківщина). Замість них до Чернівецької обласної ради пройшли кандидати, які були наступними у партійних списках. Це Оксана Філіпова та Андрій Пуздряк від партії «Єдина Альтернатива», Дмитро Домбровський від Аграрної партії, Михайло Березовський від партії «За майбутнє» та Тетяна Цинтар від партії «Батьківщина».
Водночас Галина Абрам’юк та Марина Кирилюк пройшли до Чернівецької міської ради, Василь Козак став головою Сокирянської ОТГ, а Наталія Кошурба пройшла до Чернівецької районної ради.
