10 грудня в селі Онут Заставнівського району виникла пожежа в літній кухні. 90-річна власниця проживала там одна. Дим з вікон літньої кухні помітили сусіди. Розуміючи, що всередині приміщення може перебувати літня жінка, вони викликали рятувальників.
Про це повідомляє управління ДСНС України у Чернівецькій області.
На місце події прибули вогнеборці 5 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини з міста Заставна та місцевий пожежно-рятувальний підрозділ села Ржавинці. На той час вогнем було охоплено кімнату літньої кухні, горіли меблі та домашні речі. Під час гасіння пожежі рятувальники виявили у кімнаті власницю без ознак життя. Тіло загиблої направили на судово-медичну експертизу для встановлення причини смерті. Попередня причина пожежі – коротке замкнення електромережі.
