Сьогодні, 8 грудня, на черговій сесії Чернівецької міської ради депутати підтримали електронну петицію, якою пропонують обмежити та контролювати рух велотранспорту по вулиці Ольги Кобилянської.
За відповідне рішення проголосували 23 депутати (із 42).
Петицію ухвалили без обговорення.
У електронній петицї №83, автором якої є чернівчанка Людмила Дергач, йдеться про те, що по вулиці Ольги Кобилянської великий пішохідний трафік, вулиця входить в перелік туристичних маршрутів, на ній розташовані зони відпочинку (кав’ярні, ресторани та ін.), чернівчани та гості міста відпочивають, гуляють з маленькими дітьми та просто проводять дозвілля.
Так, відтепер по вулиці Ольги Кобилянської заборонять рух велотранспорту, враховуючи численні звернення чернівчан зі скаргами на конфліктні ситуації між велосипедистами та пішоходами, а також збільшення кількості травматичних випадків, (наїздів на пішоходів).
Крім того, на вулиці встановлять відповідні знаки заборони руху будь-якого транспорту (окрім транспорту з обслуговування та місцевих мешканців).
