На Путильщині та Сторожинеччині прикордонники Чернівецького загону за добу двічі з попереджувальними пострілами переслідували правопорушників. Обидва випадки трапилися вчора, 12 листопада, в межах відповідальності відділів «Селятин» та «Красноїльськ».
Про це повідомляє Західне регіональне управління Держприкордонслужби України-Західний кордон.
Першими кому довелося організовувати пошукові заходи були прикордонники відділення «Біла Криниця» відділу «Красноїльськ». Саме тут, за допомогою тепловізора, прикордонний наряд виявив групу осіб, що прямувала в сторону кордону. Однак, при спробі затримати правопорушників, останні вдалися до втечі. Не зупинили втікачів й попереджувальні постріли у повітря. Під час переслідування пачкарів прикордонники за 150 метрів до кордону виявили дерев’яний місток, який правопорушники планували використати для перетину контрольно-слідової смуги. Пізніше, посеред лісу було знайдено й покинуті контрабандистами майже 5 тисяч пачок сигарет марки «Фэст».
Схожий випадок трапився й на ділянці відділу «Селятин», де військовослужбовцям відділу прикордонної служби типу «С» також довелося здійснити кілька попереджувальних пострілів у повітря, під час переслідування втікачів. Цього разу пачкарям теж вдалося покинути місце правопорушення, щоправда, як і попередникам без товару, його прикордонники знайшли неподалік місця виявлення правопорушників. Ящики з майже трьома тисячами пачок сигарет, обгорнутим чорним поліетиленом втікачі, мабуть, ще й намагалися приховати серед лісу, адже прикордонникам довелося чимало часу потратити, аби їх віднайти.Варто сказати, що в обох випадках прикордонники вилучили понад 7,5 тисяч пачок сигарет різних марок.
