Обидві трагедії сталися на Кіцманщині. 22–річний житель села Мамаївці Богдан Покора 4 жовтня пішов із дому в невідомому напрямку і через два дні родичі повідомили поліцію про його зникнення, про це пише Кіцмань.City.
Пошуки довгий час були безрезультатними. А 6 листопада місцевий житель у лісовому масиві на березі річки Прут у Мамаївцях знайшов труп, повішений на дереві, про що повідомив поліцію. За інформацією Кіцманського відділу поліції, тіло направлено на судово-медичну експертизу, яка встановить причину смерті. При попередньому огляді ознак насильницької смерті, окрім сліду від мотузки, виявлено не було. Проводиться слідство.
3 листопада пішов з дому з велосипедом пенсіонер з Кіцманя Омелян Фівчук. Наступного дня його велосипед знайшли на узбіччі дороги з Кіцманя на Дубівці, неподалік кільця.
7 листопада тіло чоловіка біло знайдено в лісосмузі за півтора кілометри від кільця. Попередній огляд не виявив ознак насильницької смерті, тіло відправили на судово-медичну експертизу.
