У Чернівцях міська територіальна виборча комісія звернулась до поліції із заявою про перешкоджання ТВК здійснювати свою роботу кількома кандидатами – Юрієм Ковальцем (самовисуванець) та Олександром Мельничуком (“ОПЗЖ”), а також іншими громадянами.

27 жовтня на засіданні Чернівецької міської ТВК кандидат на посаду Чернівецького міського голови Юрій Ковалець та кандидат у депутати до міської ради Олександр Мельничук від “ОПЗЖ”, висловили думку щодо невідповідності зберігання протоколів та іншої виборчої документації відповідною комісією. Зокрема, кандидати назвали незаконним рішення міської ТВК прийняти на зберігання протоколи та іншу виборчу документацію від ДВК та відпустити членів дільничних виборчих комісій на відпочинок у ніч з 27 на 28 жовтня, не забезпечивши належної охорони. На засіданні виникла суперечка.
Чернівецька міська територіальна виборча комісії прийняла рішення викликати поліцію. Питання на голосування поставила голова міської ТВК Анжела Саїнчук.
У результаті представники правоохоронних органів видалила їх із засідання комісії.
Голова Чернівецької міської ТВК Анжела Саїнчук прокоментувала ситуацію ОПОРІ:
“Під час засідання територіальної виборчої комісії увірвалася група громадян, які одразу почали “прориватися” до пакетів з документами, які ми вже опрацювали, а значить, вони могли знаходитися в полі зору членів комісії. Зважаючи на карантинні умови, міська територіальна комісія прийняла рішення прийняти документацію від дільничних комісій на зберігання. Всю інформацію ми склали в опломбовану шафу. Сьогодні група громадян спробувала захопити цю документацію. На адресу комісії лунали звинувачення в підкупі. Тому комісія запросила представників поліції і було прийнято рішення видалити із засідання цих громадян, які, до речі, так і не представилися. Двоє з них, після численних моїх зауважень, таки зареєструвалися для участі у засіданні. Це депутати від “ОПЗЖ”, а двоє так і не зареєструвалися”.
