Традиційно, канікули школярів протягом навчального року не повинні перевищувати 30 днів. Однак, у зв’язку в пандемією, до навчального процесу можуть вноситись зміни.
Так, МОН вже рекомендував школам самостійно формувати графік канікул, якщо це буде потрібно. Особливо це актуально у період пандемії.
Наразі відомо, що перший семестр триватиме з 1 вересня по 24 грудня 2020 року. А другий – з 11 січня по 28 травня 2021 року.
Міністерство освіти і науки на 2020 – 2021 навчальний рік рекомендувало такі дати канікул:
- осінні канікули: з 26 жовтня – 1 листопада включно.
- зимові канікули: з 25 грудня по 10 січня включно.
- весняні канікули: з 22 березня по 28 березня включно.
- літні канікули: 1 червня – 31 серпня включно.
Також учні матимуть кілька додаткових вихідних.
- 25 грудня (середа) – католицьке Різдво (припадає на зимові канікули);
- 8 березня (понеділок) – Міжнародний жіночий день;
- 1 травня (субота) – День праці (ймовірно, перенесеться на понеділок, 3 травня);
- 2 та 3 травня (неділя та понеділок) – Світле Христове воскресіння, Великдень;
- 9 травня (неділя) – День Перемоги (швидше всього, вихідним днем буде понеділок 10 травня).
Не виключені також додаткові вихідні у школах у зв’язку з місцевими виборами.
