На Буковині продовж минулих вихідних прикордонникам Чернівецького загону довелося близько 15 разів залучати групи реагування для перевірки державного кордону. Дві з таких перевірок були доволі вдалими, в результаті чого затримали п’ять мешканців Глибоцького району та чималу партію тютюнової контрабанди. Обидва випадки відбулися 24 та 25 вересня на ділянках відділів прикордонної служби «Красноїльськ» та «Фальків».
Про це повідомляє Західне регіональне управління Держприкордонслужби України-Західний кордон.
Так, у суботу прикордонним нарядом відділу «Красноїльськ» було помічено групу осіб, що прямували в сторону кордону та вже встигли подолати загороджувальний паркан. До державного кордону чоловікам залишалося менш як 100 метрів. Саме на цій дистанції група реагування затримала правопорушників. Ними виявилися п’ятеро мешканців прикордоння, це стало відомо з їхніх документів. Чітких пояснень своїм діям чоловіки не надали. Наразі встановлюються всі обставини правопорушення. На буковинців складено адміністративні протоколи за незаконне перетинання або спробу незаконного перетинання державного кордону України.
Днем пізніше групою реагування відділу «Фальків», в ході перевірки випереджувальної інформації співробітників оперативних підрозділів й офіцерів відділу внутрішньої та власної безпеки, було виявлено місце накопичення тютюнових виробів. Схованку правопорушники облаштували неподалік прикордонної смуги, замаскувавши її гіллям дерев. Цього разу пачкарі приховали майже 20 тисяч пачок сигарет різних марок, які незабаром планували переправити до сусідньої Румунії. За попередньою оцінкою, втрати пачкарів сягають півмільйона гривень, зважаючи на ринкову вартість виявлених тютюнових виробів.
