Президент Володимир Зеленський заявив, що в умовах пандемії коронавірусу найбільшою проблемою після хвороби виявилося зростання випадків домашнього насильства.
Про це він зазначив під час зустрічі з представниками громадських та міжнародних організацій, присвяченій питанням реалізації державної політики з протидії та запобігання домашньому насильству, повідомляє кореспондент Укрінформу.
“В умовах пандемії COVID-19 проблемою номер два після самого вірусу стало наростання домашнього насильства. Як приклад, тільки за перші півроку поліція отримала майже вдвічі більше звернень щодо домашнього насильства, ніж у минулому півріччі”, – зазначив Зеленський.
Президент також повідомив, що підписав указ про невідкладні заходи із запобігання та протидії домашньому насильству, насильству за ознакою статі, захисту прав осіб, які постраждали від такого насильства.
“Проєкт указу спрямований на системну розбудову мережі реагування на насильство, він втілює базові принципи захисту прав та інтересів постраждалих осіб”, – підкреслив глава держави перед підписанням документа.
Він нагадав, що законодавством України домашнє насильство “криміналізоване”, проте потрібні механізми для реалізації законів і система доступних послуг.
“Людина має бути впевнена, що їй справді допоможуть, а не створять нові проблеми”, – наголосив Зеленський.
Він додав, що всі відповідні служби, які працюють у системі протидії домашньому насильству, повинні працювати ефективно, а люди мають розраховувати на оперативну й адекватну відповідь на звернення.
Як повідомлялося, раніше в Україні запустили гарячу лінію з попередження домашнього насильства. Номер лінії – 1547.
