Україна зможе отримати дози вакцини від коронавірусу для 20% населення за міжнародною ініціативою COVAX (глобального механізму щодо забезпечення доступності вакцин проти COVID-19 – ред.).
Про це повідомив міністр охорони здоров’я України Максим Степанов під час телефонної розмови з міністром охорони здоров’я Німеччини Йенсом Шпаном сьогодні, 10 вересня.
Міністри охорони здоров’я України та Німеччини обговорили питання клінічних досліджень і доступу до вакцин від Covid-19.
«Україна вдячна ЄС та Німеччині за безпосередній фінансовий вклад та політичну підтримку міжнародної ініціативи COVAX, завдяки чому Україна зможе отримати дози вакцини для 20% населення. Проте у цьому випадку у нас залишиться понад 30 млн людей, що потребуватимуть вакцини з інших джерел», – сказав Максим Степанов.
За його словами, Україна також шукатиме джерела поставок вакцини для проведення щеплення усім групам ризику.
Своєю чергою Йенс Шпан зазначив, що Німеччина готова повернутися до розмови про доступ України до вакцини, як тільки буде зрозуміло, які вакцини пройдуть клінічні дослідження.
Нагадаємо, що у світі вже принаймні чотири розробники вакцини проти коронавірусу заявляють про позитивні результати. Вакцина від Covid-19, розроблена китайською компанією, орієнтовно коштуватиме 1000 гривень.
