Найближчим часом на українсько-румунському кордоні в межах Чернівецької області встановлять системи фото- та відеофіксації. Про це під час пресконференції повідомив начальник Чернівецького прикордонного загону Сергій Марцінкевич. Таке рішення стало результатом роботи на ділянці Чернівецького прикордонного загону Голови Держприкордонслужби Сергія Дейнека.
«Ми разом пройшли пішки по всіх гірських недоступних місцях і побачили усі недоліки. За результатами проведеної роботи було визначено певний комплекс досить потужних заходів, які будуть впроваджуватись на території Чернівецької області. Перше, це інженерне облаштування кордону – ми вже розпочали і на всіх загрозливих напрямках зараз встановлюється загороджувальний паркан типу «Ягоза». На більш спокійних ділянках ми встановлюємо загородження сіткою Рабіца. Планується оснащення засобами відеоспостереження, засобами фотофіксації. Також ми отримали велику кількість техніки високої прохідності – і мотоцикли, і потужні автомобілі, які дадуть змогу якісніше виконувати свої функціональні обов’язки у гірських важко прохідних місцях», – сказав очільник прикордонного загону.
Ще одним елементом удосконалення технічного забезпечення прикордонників стануть тепловізійні комплекси. До прикладу, у румунських колег потойбіч кордону є вже 16 таких комплексів, в українських охоронців рубежу на цій ділянці тепловізійні комплекси дотепер не використовувалися.
