У селі Остриця Герцаївського району вчора, 3 вересня, виникла пожежа. На території приватного домогосподарства загорілися дрова біля житлового будинку. За попередніми висновками фахівців, причиною пожежі стало коротке замкнення електромережі, прокладеної по зовнішній стіні житлового будинку, та спричинило загорання дров, котрі були складені біля житлового будинку. Пожежу помітив син власників та повідомив про неї рятувальників.
За викликом прибули вогнеборці з міст Чернівці, Герца та місцевий пожежно-рятувальний підрозділ села Цурень. Рятувальники ліквідували пожежу, не допустивши подальшого розповсюдження полум’я, та врятувавши від знищення житловий будинок. Вогонь пошкодив дрова, електрощитові, електропроводку.

У місті Заставна вчора горіла суха трава та сміття. Пожежа виникла на міському сміттєзвалищі, а у подальшому вогонь перекинувся на траву поблизу. На ліквідацію пожежі направили черговий караул 5 державної пожежно-рятувальної частини міста Заставна. Рятувальники ліквідували пожежу в тих межах, в яких застали її на момент прибуття. Вогонь знищив сміття та траву, загальною площею 700 кв. м. Причина пожежі встановлюється.
