Верховна Рада прийняла в першому читанні законопроєкт про створення Бюро економічної безпеки, що має замінити податкову міліцію.
Про це повідомляє інтернет-видання “Економічна правда”.
За відповідне рішення проголосували 245 депутатів.
Цей правоохоронний орган займатиметься кримінальними порушенням у галузі економіки. Також законопроєкт пропонує забрати в СБУ повноваження розслідувати економічну злочинність.
Директор Бюро призначається за підсумками конкурсу та звільняється з посади президентом. Однак до другого читання в законопроект планують унести поправки про перепідпорядкування керівника цього органу Кабінету міністрів.
Під час перехідного періоду кримінальні провадження передадуть Генеральній прокуратурі, а потім до нового органу, який розпочне свою діяльність, коли в його штаті буде 30% працівників. Загалом же у штаті Бюро буде 4 тисячі працівників.
