Скоївши наїзд на жінку-пішохода у місті Кіцмань, кермувальник втік з місця автопригоди. Від отриманих травм потерпіла загинула. Завдяки налагодженій взаємодії різних підрозділів поліції Чернівецької області, правоохоронцям вдалося швидко встановити порушника. Вирішується питання про відкриття кримінального провадження та затримання водія.

Опівночі 2 вересня до поліції надійшло повідомлення про те, що на автодорозі у місті Кіцмань лежить мертва жінка, а поруч – уламки деталей від автомобіля.
Співробітники Ситуаційного відділу ГУНП в Чернівецькій області скерували за вказаною адресою слідчо-оперативні групи ГУНП і Кіцманського відділу поліції. Також орієнтували наряди поліції області на розшук автомобіля, який міг бути причетним до ДТП.
Вже через 15 хвилин на в’їзді до Чернівців співробітники обласного управління патрульної поліції зупинили автомобіль «Ford Transit», на якому були пошкодження, характерні для дорожньо-транспортної пригоди. За кермом мікроавтобуса перебував 27-річний чернівчанин.
Попередньо поліцейські встановили, що 1 вересня о 23:50, рухаючись автодорогою у місті Кіцмань в напрямку Чернівців, водій допустив наїзд на жінку-пішохода – 35-річну місцеву жительку. Кермувальник не повідомив про автопригоду відповідні служби і поїхав з місця події. Внаслідок наїзду потерпіла отримала тілесні ушкодження та загинула.
Наразі правоохоронці здійснюють першочергові слідчі дії для з’ясування всіх обставин дорожньо-транспортної пригоди.
