25 серпня до Служби порятунку надійшло повідомлення від поліції, що на березі ставу у селі Вартиківці Кельменецького району виявили речі мешканця сусіднього села Верхня Слобідка.

46-річний чоловік вийшов з дому ще 24 серпня та пропав безвісти.
До пошуку залучили місцевих мешканців та водолазів.
Сьогодні, 26 серпня, тіло чоловіка знайшли у водоймі та піднято на поверхню. Його направили на судово-медичну експертизу міста Сокиряни для встановлення точної причини смерті. Обставини події з’ясовує поліція.
