У Чернівецькій області за підрахунками станом на 1 липня проживало 899,2 тис осіб.
Про це повідомляє пресслужба Головного управління Статистики у Чернівецькій області.
Упродовж січня-червня 2020 року чисельність населення зменшилася на 2386 осіб. Зменшення чисельності відбулося за рахунок природного та міграційного скорочень (2165 та 221 особі відповідно).
Кільнкість новонароджених порівняно з січнем-червнем 2019 року зменшилася на 258 осіб і становила 3810.
У січні-червні померло 5975 осіб, що на 27 більше, ніж у цей період 2019 року.
Кількість дітей, померлих у віці до 1 року, становила 21 особу (у січні-червні 2019 – 35).
