Співробітники карного розшуку ГУНП в Чернівецькій області та Шевченківського відділення поліції викрили чернівчанина, який незаконно вимагав гроші у місцевого жителя. Залучивши до спецоперації спецпризначенців «КОРД», поліцейські затримали зловмисника.

До Шевченківського відділення поліції звернувся житель Чернівців із заявою про вимагання грошей. Заявник повідомив, що незнайомий чоловік погрожує йому фізичною розправою та вимагає значну суму коштів. Слідчі внесли відомості про вказаний факт до Єдиного реєстру досудових розслідувань за кваліфікуючими ознаками статті 189 (Вимагання) Кримінального кодексу України та розпочали досудове розслідування.
За результатами оперативно-розшукових заходів поліцейські встановили особу правопорушника – 33-річного чернівчанина. Коли він черговий раз погрожував потерпілому й вимагав сплатити неіснуючий борг, правоохоронці затримали вимагача в порядку статті 208 (Затримання уповноваженою службовою особою) Кримінального процесуального кодексу України. В автомобілі затриманого співробітники поліції вилучили пістолет та направили його на дослідження до Чернівецького науково-дослідного експертно-криміналістичного центру МВС України.
Слідчі Шевченківського відділення поліції повідомили зловмиснику про підозру у скоєнні кримінального правопорушення, передбаченого статтею 189 (Вимагання) Кримінального кодексу України. Суд обрав підозрюваному запобіжний захід у вигляді тримання під вартою строком на 60 днів без альтернативи внесення застави.
Наразі триває досудове розслідування, поліцейські встановлюють всі обставини вказаної протиправної діяльності.
