Сьогодні на Центральній площі Чернівців патріотична громадськість пом’янула полеглого на російсько-українській війні Героя Василя Масікевича.
Воїн загинув 15 серпня 2015 року на Донбасі, захищаючи територіальну цілісність та суверенітет України від кремлівських окупантів.
На Центральній площі Чернівців відбувся Подзвін Пам’яті за полеглим Героєм, який здійснила його тітка Валерія. Після цього до світлини Героя пані Валерія прикріпила малесенький дзвіночок, аби пам’ятали…
Віддати шану полеглому захиснику України традиційно зібралися родини полеглих воїнів, військовослужбовці, волонтери, представники патрульної поліції. Звершили спільну молитву, після цього разом виконали Славень України.
Про Героя:
Масікевич Василь Євгенович народився 17 вересня 1975 року в селі Репужинці Заставнівського району Чернівецької області. Солдат, вогнеметник 81-ї окремої аеромобільної бригади.
Загинув 15 серпня 2015 року в районі міста Попасна на Луганщині під час виконання бойового завдання. Розлучений, залишилось четверо неповнолітніх дітей, мати та сестра.
Похований в селі Репужинці Заставнівського району Чернівецької області.
