Прикордонники Чернівецького загону, двічі за добу, позбавили пачкарів понад 14 тисяч пачок сигарет, які правопорушники намагалися перемістити до країн Європейського Союзу. Про це повідомляє пресслужба Західного регіонального управління Держприкордонслужби України.
Обидва випадки трапилися у неділю, 9 серпня, на ділянці відповідальності відділу «Красноїльськ» та «Селятин».
Саме прикордонникам цих двох підрозділів довелося двічі переслідувати правопорушників, при цьому здійснити попереджувальні постріли у повітря, аби зупинити зухвальців.
Як результат охоронцям кордону вдалося не допустити переміщення 14480 пачок сигарет марки «Фест», «Compliment» та «Rothmans». Останніх прикордонники виявили чи не найбільше, а саме 12 тисяч пачок.
Наразі триває пошук порушників, які, помітивши прикордонників, під покровом ночі втекли покинувши товар.
З огляду на ринкову вартість цих тютюнових виробів можна сказати, що правопорушники втратили близько 600 тисяч гривень.
