Правоохоронними органами України не розслідуються питання, пов’язані з наданням Українській Церкві Томосу.
Про це “Українській правді” повідомив очільник ДБР Олександр Соколов, пише Релігійна правда.
“Відповідно до Конституції, держава відокремлена від Церкви і не повинна втручатися в питання реалізації громадянами свого права на свободу віросповідання. В зв’язку з цим, будь-які питання, пов’язані з добровільним створенням чи об’єднанням релігійних общин, не перебувають в сфері повноважень правоохоронних органів. В площині функцій правоохоронців те, що стосується виключно власності чи насилля, на що ми реагуємо незалежно від релігійної приналежності”, – наголосив чиновник.
На уточнювальне запитання Соколов зазначив, що ДБР жодним чином в рамках справи щодо можливого “розпалювання ворожнечі” не оцінює факт правомірності одержання Томосу.
Зазначимо, що журналісти звернулись до ДБР у зв’язку із заявою колишнього президента Петра Порошенка, яку той зробив у відео привітанні українців із Днем Хрещення Руси-України. Зокрема, він зазначив, що в Україні розслідується справа за Томос, яким надано незалежність Православній Церкві України.
- 18 червня стало відомо, що проти Порошенка порушили справу через “розпалювання релігійної ворожнечі” за фактом отримання Томосу українською автокефальною Церквою.
- У ДБР підтвердили відкриття справи Службою безпеки України ще 2019 року.
- Водночас у бюро наголосили, що не збираються ставити під сумнів легітимність створення ПЦУ, та пояснили, що цю справу стосовно Порошенка було відкрито за заявою предстоятеля УПЦ КП Філарета. У Філарета цю інформацію заперечують, заявляючи, що на Порошенка наскаржились віряни.
