Фахівці обласного лабораторного центру перевірили, чи безпечними є популярні на Буковині місця відпочинку. Вони взяли проби води та ґрунту із 7 пляжів: у Чернівцях, ТРК «Лижна траса» та «Хвиля» в Магалі, «Сонячний берег» у Боянах на Новоселиччині; на базах відпочинку «Аква-плюс» у Кам’яні, «Берег любові» у Бобівцях та «Рутка» у Великому Кучурові Сторожинецького району, про це йдеться на сайті Чернівецької ОДА.
Крім того, фахівці дослідили 4 зони рекреації: на берегах річки Дністер у Новодністровську та у Репуженцях Заставнівського району; ТОВ «Услад» та бази відпочинку «Вілія» у Ломачинцях Сокирянського району.
За результатами проведених лабораторних досліджень, у зв’язку з невідповідністю води санітарним вимогам, фахівці Центру не рекомендують купатись в річці Прут на міському пляжі у Чернівцях.
Моніторингові дослідження якості води водойм та ґрунту з місць масового відпочинку населення області тривають.
