Як повідомило управління ДСНС України, з початку року на водоймах у Чернівецькій області загинули 17 людей, з яких 3 дітей. Сумна статистика спонукає перш за все, під час відпочинку на воді не нехтувати найелементарнішими правилами:
- відпочивати на воді слід тільки в спеціально відведених та обладнаних для цього місцях. При цьому не дозволяється запливати за буйки та інші огородження;
- заходити у воду необхідно поступово, дозволяючи тілу звикнути до зміни температури повітря та води;
- купатися рекомендовано при температурі води не нижче +18°С, а повітря – +24°С;
- у воді варто знаходитися не більше 15 хвилин. Якщо ж ви взагалі не вмієте плавати, то у воду рятувальники радять заходити тільки до пояса;
- слід уникати водойм зі швидкою течією;
- ніколи не плавайте наодинці, особливо якщо не впевнені у своїх силах;
- перед тим, як стрибати у воду, переконайтеся в безпеці дна й достатній глибині водоймища. Пірнати можна лише там, де є для цього достатня глибина, прозора вода, рівне дно;
- дорослим потрібно уважно слідкувати за дітьми у воді та перебувати з ними поруч, також – не залишати малечу без нагляду на березі річок чи озер;
- небезпечно заходити у воду в нетверезому стані;
- якщо під час купання вхопила судорога, необхідно оволодіти собою, утримуватися на поверхні води, пливучи на спині, розтерти м’яз, який судомить та кликати на допомогу;
- потрапивши у вир, людина повинна набрати якомога більше повітря в легені, зануритися у воду і зробити сильний ривок убік за течією, випливаючи на поверхню. А заплутавшись у гіллі, не потрібно робити різких рухів та ривків. Варто лягти на спину і намагатися спокійними рухами пливти у той бік, звідки припливли. Окрім цього, підтягнувши ноги до живота, можна спробувати звільнитися від водоростей чи гілки руками.
