За оцінками фахівців, наразі у Чернівцях проходить піковий період підйому рівня води у Пруті. А в населених пунктах, які розташовані трохи вище обласного центру, вода почала спадати.
Як розповів заступник Чернівецького міського голови Володимир Середюк, за даними ДСНС та синоптиків наразі у Чернівцях рівень води у Пруті досяг свого піку. Надалі вода у Пруті почне спадати. Проте вода зі зливових мереж почала підтоплювати 5-й сектор Калинівського ринку, пише ІА АСС.
«Наразі ми спостерігаємо останній пік підняття рівня води у Пруті. Далі вода почне знижуватись. За даними рятувальників та синоптиків у населених пунктах, які розташовуються трохи вище Чернівців, рівень води у Пруті вже пішов на спад. Тому далі вода сходитиме і в Чернівцях», – сказав Середюк.
Він також повідомив, що підприємці Калинівського ринку встигли вивезти товар та підняти його повище, тому підприємство практично не зазнало збитків. Також не зазнали підтоплень житлові райони Ленківці та Садгора. Проте на місці і надалі залишаються рятувальники і правоохоронці для контролювання ситуації.
Натомість, Володимир Середюк зазначив, що вода зі зливових мереж почала підтоплювати 5-й сектор Калинівського ринку. Водночас, як повідомив директор МТК «Калинівський ринок» Ігор Маслянчук, станом на 16:00 рівень води в річці Прут – 649 см. На Калинівському ринку в І секторі підтоплено 4 ряди та відкриті прилавки. У зв’язку з виходом води через зливову мережу, затопило стоянку 8-го сектору та 4 сектор з р. Потіт. Також вода впритул підійшла до 3 та 5 секторів.
