Українська Православна Церква звернулась до вірян у Поминальні дні не приносити на могили рідних штучні квіти.
Про це йдеться у повідомленні на сторінці ПЦУ в Facebook.
Священники нагадують, що пластикове сміття дуже шкідливе для навколишнього природного середовища.
«Закликаємо покладати живі квіти або саджанці, не використовувати пластикові вінки та інші вироби, щоб оберігати нашу планету від забруднення заради майбутніх поколінь», – йдеться в повідомленні
З таким же закликом до вірних вже неодноразово зверталися і в УГКЦ, наголошуючи, що у поминальні дні українці вшановують пам’ять своїх рідних та несуть на їхні могили штучні квіти, не задумуючись над тим, яку небезпеку вони собою уособлюють. Після спалювання пластикових квітів та вінків виділяється велика кількість токсичних речовин, розкладання яких у ґрунті триває упродовж сотень років.
