Цьогоріч, 3 листопада, буковинці, в тому числі і жителі Хотинщини, вшановують 100 літній ювілей Буковинського віча — народних зборів, які відбулися цього дня 1918 року в місті Чернівці і результатом яких стало проголошення возз’єднання Північної Буковини із Західно-Українською Народною Республікою та “Великою Україною”.
З цієї нагоди громадськість міста та району зібралася на урочистий концерт «Вічно живи Буковино моя», який відбувся у районному будинку народної творчості та дозвілля.
До присутніх у залі, з привітаннями звернувся голова районної державної адміністрації Петро Допіряк. Під час виступу посадовець вручив ювілейні відзнаки обласної державної адміністрації «100-річчя Буковинського народного віча». До 100-річчя Буковинського народного віча нагороджено відзнаками громадських діячів Хотинщини.
