Очільник РПЦ в Україні (МП) митрополит Онуфрій заразився коронавірусом і його таємно госпіталізували. Як пише Релігійна правда, про це повідомили джерела у Києво-Печерській лаврі.
Також коронавірус виявили у митрополита РПЦвУ Антонія та ректора Київської духовної академії при Києво-Печерській лаврі єпископа Сильвестра. Наразі вони також госпіталізовані.
Раніше коронавірусну інфекцію підхопили намісник Києво-Печерської Лаври Митрополит Павло та настоятель Свято-Троїцького Іонинського монастиря єпископ РПЦвУ Іона.
Як повідомляють, митрополити Онуфрій та Антоній проходили тест на коронавірус анонімно, і були госпіталізовані під чужим іменем. Так вчинили з метою убезпечити РПЦвУ від звинувачень напередодні Великодня.
«Швидше за все, митрополит Онуфрій не проводитиме Великодню літургію, оскільки для нього наразі найважливішим питанням залишається власне здоров’я, а не репутації церкви», – розповідає анонімне джерело.
Ввечері 17 квітня митрополит Антоній з’явився у програмі «Свобода слова Савіка Шустера». Він залишив клініку на цей час та поїхав до Києво-Печерської лаври, щоб взяти участь в прямому ефірі, про який була домовленість зазделегідь.
Нагадаємо, представники РПЦ в Україні до останнього моменту ігнорували карантинні вимоги, закликали вірян ходити до церкви, попри ризик спалаху COVID-19.
13 квітня мер Києва повідомив, що Києво-Печерську лавру закривають на карантин за рішенням комісії з надзвичайних ситуацій столиці. Тести на коронавірус пройшли 230 ченців і 68 семінаристів.
17 квітня помер вже третій чернець Свято-Успенської Києво-Печерської лаври Никодим. Напередодні померли насельники Києво-Печерської лаври монахи Нектарій і Наум.
