У с. Михайлівка Глибоцького району 16 квітня о 15 год. 44 хв., попередньо внаслідок короткого замкнення в електромережі, виникла пожежа на горищі житлового будинку.
Дим, який виходив з будівлі, вчасно помітили сусіди й одразу зателефонували на спеціальну лінію 101. На виклик було направлено пожежно-рятувальні підрозділи смт Глибока та сіл Тарашани і Станівці.
На момент приїзду вогнеборців до місця події полум’ям було охоплено горище будинку, у кімнатах утворилося задимлення, і вогонь вже перекинувся на окремо розташовану господарську будівлю. Площа пожежі складала 80 кв. м.
Місцеві мешканці повідомили вогнеборців, що всередині може перебувати людина. Рятувальники, одягнувши апарати захисту органів дихання та дихання, увійшли всередину будівлі, в одній із кімнати вони знайшли жінку та вивели її на вулицю у безпечне місце. Переконавшись, що її здоров’ю та життю загрози більше немає, вони приступили до ліквідації пожежі. Її було ліквідовано у межах, в яких рятувальники застали на момент прибуття.
У результаті пожежі вогонь знищив житловий будинок і господарську будівлю.
