Розпочався черговий етап взаємного звільнення утримуваних осіб – Україна повертає 19 своїх громадян, які перебували в неволі на тимчасово окупованих територіях. З огляду на карантинні обмеження, які наразі діють у державі, після повернення звільнені українці направляться на обов’язкову обсервацію.
Про це повідомляє пресслужба Офісу Президента України.
Взаємне звільнення утримуваних осіб відбувається у рамках формату «всіх на всіх». Для Президента України Володимира Зеленського та для української влади загалом цінним є кожен, кого незаконно утримують на окупованих територіях чи в іншій країні.
Україна має визволити всіх своїх громадян.
Це вже третій етап звільнення за каденції Володимира Зеленського. Перший відбувся у вересні минулого року, коли додому повернулися 35 українців, під час другого – у грудні – повернулися 76 громадян. Нинішнє звільнення демонструє дієвість стратегії Президента та дотримання домовленостей, досягнутих під час саміту в Нормандському форматі у грудні 2019 року.
Тривають переговори про звільнення українців, які утримуються на території окупованого Криму та в Росії. Слід пам’ятати, що оприлюднення у ЗМІ імен тих, кого Україна намагається повернути, ускладнює процес їхнього включення до списків на звільнення.
Попри поширення коронавірусу та початок глобальної економічної кризи Президент Володимир Зеленський продовжує роботу над досягненням миру на Донбасі, поверненням людей і територій на умовах України.
