Під час пожежі, яка виникла 12 квітня 2020 року в смт Красноїльськ Сторожинецького району, травмувався хлопець 2004 року народження.

Загорання виникло в моторному відсіку автомобіля «Volkswagen Passat В5» під час руху. Викликавши вогнеборців, водій зі своїм сином намагалися загасити пожежу власними силами до їх приїзду, проте їм це не вдалося, окрім цього, під час гасіння юнак отримав термічні опіки рук.
Пожежу ліквідували вогнеборці місцевого пожежно-рятувального підрозділу смт Красноїльськ. Площа пожежі склала 6 кв. м, вогонь знищив салон та моторний відсік. Причина пожежі встановлюється.
