У Снятинському районі в селі Стецева чоловік познущався над собакою та побив її. За фактом жорстокого поводження з тваринами відкрито кримінальне провадження за статтею 299 Кримінального кодексу України.
12 березня до Снятинського відділення поліції надійшло повідомлення від голови «Дому Сірка», що в селі Стецева чоловік забив до смерті собаку. На місце події негайно виїхала слідчо-оперативна група. Прибувши на місце події, правоохоронців встановили, що собака жива, але травмована.
Також під час моніторингу мережі Інтернет працівники поліції виявили відео, на якому чоловік завдає удари тварині. Правоохоронці встановили особу чоловіка. Наразі з ним працюють правоохоронці.
За цим фактом відкрито кримінальне провадження за ч. 1 ст. 299 (жорстоке поводження з тваринами) Кримінального кодексу України. Санкція статті передбачає покарання у вигляді арешту на строк до 6 місяців або обмеження волі на строк до 3 років. Триває досудове розслідування. Проте тваринка потребує допомоги небайдужих у боротьбі за виживання.
