За фактом незаконного поводження зі зброєю слідчі Путильського відділення поліції розпочали кримінальне провадження. Відповідно до чинного законодавства, таке правопорушення карається позбавленням волі на строк від трьох до семи років.
Під час профілактичного відпрацювання території обслуговування, оперативники Путильського відділення поліції помітили в селі Плоска підозрілого чоловіка з пакетом в руках. Ним виявився 50-річний місцевий житель.
За результатами поверхневої перевірки поліцейські виявили у громадянина газовий пістолет калібру 9 мм без маркування, 32 набої калібру 5,6 мм, а також корпус гранати «РГД-5» без запалу. Для документування правопорушення та вилученні нелегальної зброї і боєприпасів на місце події викликали слідчо-оперативну групу.
Вилучені предмети правоохоронці направили на дослідження до Чернівецького науково-дослідного експертно-криміналістичного центру.
За вказаним фактом слідчі внесли відомості до Єдиного реєстру досудових розслідувань за ознаками частини 1 статті 263 (Незаконне поводження зі зброєю, бойовими припасами або вибуховими речовинами) Кримінального кодексу України.
