У Ратуші нагородили призерів чемпіонату Європи з карате серед молоді, юніорів та кадетів, який проходив в Будапешті (Угорщина) 7-9 лютого 2020 року.
У змаганнях взяли участь 1183 юних спортсмени з 53-х країн світу. Про це повідомляє пресслужба Чернівецької міської ради.
У складі збірної України виступили 36 спортсменів, які здобули 6 нагород – 2 золоті та 4 бронзові медалі та посіли 6-те місце у загальному відліку.
Серед них троє чернівецьких спортсменів, а саме:
Андрій Заплітний (майстер спорту України з карате) – бронзовий призер чемпіонату Європи з карате серед молоді (U-21, куміте, до 84 кг) (тренер з карате СК «Лідер»- Андрій Лазоренко);
Олексій Гоцуляк– чемпіон Європи з карате серед юніорів (куміте, до 61 кг) (тренер з карате СК «Максимум» – Станіслав Золотухін);
Віра Фоглінська– бронзова призерка чемпіонату Європи з карате серед кадеток (куміте, до 54 кг) (тренер з карате СК «Максимум» Олександр Сергєєв) .
Заступник Чернівецького міського голови Олександр Паскар подякував спортсменам за вагомі досягнення та вручив Грамоти міського голови та цінні подарунки.
