У Міністерстві закордонних справ України підтвердили, що серед шести пасажирів лайнера Diamond Princess біля берегів Японії, які 9 лютого захворіли на коронавірус, є один українець.
Про це Укрінформу повідомили в Департаменті консульської служби МЗС.
«Є один інфікований громадянин України, який перебував на круїзному лайнері біля берегів Японії. Особу встановлено. Розміщено в лікарні. Стан задовільний. Зі шпиталізованим підтримується зв’язок. Ситуація на контролі міністра закордонних справ та Посольства України в Японії», — зазначили у відомстві.
Наразі він знятий з лайнеру та перевезений до японської лікарні столичного регіону. Там він буде перебувати в ізоляції під медичним спостереженням щонайменше 14 днів.
Японія повідомила про шість випадків зараження коронавірусом серед пасажирів і членів екіпажу, зокрема, це один українець, чотири філіппінці та один житель Гонконгу з громадянством США.
У японському МОЗ повідомили, що українському громадянину надається кваліфікована медична допомога, і хворий «почувається нормально».
