Нагадаємо, 15 грудня у селі Верхні Петрівці 22-річний житель Глибоцького району скоїв дорожньо-транспортну пригоду, у результаті якої загинув пішохід. Ще двоє потерпілих отримали численні тілесні ушкодження. Тоді поліцейські оперативно розшукали та затримали водія, який втік з місця події.
Про це повідомляє відділ комунікації поліції Чернівецької області.
Протягом трьох діб слідчі відділу розслідування злочинів у сфері транспорту СУ ГУНП в Чернівецькій області здійснювали першочергові слідчі дії. Правоохоронці опитали очевидців автопригоди, проаналізували записи камер відеонагляду та зібрали докази причетності водія до ДТП. Під час досудового розслідування проведено більше десяти криміналістичних експертиз, результати яких підтвердили вину водія в аварії. Зокрема встановлено, що порушник керував автомобілем у стані алкогольного сп’яніння та суттєво перевищив допустиму швидкість.
Правоохоронці скерували до суду матеріали кримінального провадження із обвинувальним актом. Наразі підозрюваний перебуває у Чернівецькому слідчому ізоляторі. Йому обрано запобіжний захід у вигляді тримання під вартою без альтернативи внесення застави. За скоєння злочину, передбаченого частиною 2 статті 286 (Порушення правил безпеки дорожнього руху або експлуатації транспорту особами, які керують транспортними засобами) Кримінального кодексу України, порушнику загрожує до 8 років позбавлення волі.
