Пожежа в нефункціонуючій будівлі сталася у місті Чернівці на вул. Максимовича.
Зі слів місцевих жителів, у цій будівлі часто перебували особи без постійного місця проживання. Ймовірно, щоб зігрітися, вони розвели вогонь всередині будівлі. Про це повідомляє пресслужба управління УДСНС у Чернівецькій області.
Таке необережне поводження з вогнем призвело до пожежі. Щоб ліквідувати пожежу, на місце події направили рятувальників Групи пожежогасіння Аварійно-рятувального загону спеціального призначення.
Вогнеборці ліквідували загорання.
Внаслідок пожежі знищено частково підлогу та дерев’яні конструкції перекриття на площі 15 кв.м.
