Увечері, 24 січня, у місті Чернівці на вул. Максимовича сталася пожежа в нефункціонуючій будівлі.
Загорання виникло в кімнаті на першому поверсі. Про це повідомляє пресслужба УДСНС у Чернівецькій області.
Як з’ясувалося, у цій будівлі облаштували собі прихисток особи без постійного місця проживання. Того вечора вони теж були всередині.
Ймовірно, щоб освітити приміщення, люди запалили свічку і залишили її горіти без нагляду. Як наслідок, через необережне поводження з вогнем виникла пожежа. Полум’я поширилося на матрац та інші речі, площа пожежі склала 15 кв.м.
Вогонь помітили очевидці й зателефонували на лінію 101. За викликом було направлено черговий караул Групи пожежогасіння Аварійно-рятувального загону спеціального призначення.
Під час проведення розвідки у задимленому приміщення рятувальники виявили двох осіб. Одну людину працівники Служби порятунку вивели з будівлі, врятувавши її.
Інша – невстановлена особа чоловічої статі – була вже без жодних ознак життя. Вогнеборці ліквідували пожежу в тих межах, в яких застали її на час приїзду.
Тіло загиблого було направлено на судово-медичну експертизу для встановлення причини смерті.
